MVLL 9/10 WINS AGAIN, IN STATEMENT GAME
MVLL 9/10's were victorious last night with a strong 13 - 3 win last night. The game was close in the first few innings, and then MVLL Exploded with solid base hits, aggressive base running and a chip on their shoulder to take back a win. Ironically, the score was reversed from earlier this week when the both teams played. MVLL will play again tonight at 7:30 PM vs McDowell Mountain Little League. A victory tonight assures MVLL a return trip to the Championship Game on Saturday. The crowd's have been awesome and the kids are doing great. MVLL has scored 48 runs in three games, and we wish them continued success. Come on out and support our MVLL Teams.
MVLL 10/11 WINS AND MOVES ON VS HOST FOUNTAIN HILLS LITTLE LEAGUE TONIGHT
MVLL 10/11 won with solid hitting last night against East Scottsdale. The kids showed up with a plan and executed effectively. MVLL came out hot and scored 3 runs in the first inning, but East Scottsdale fired back with 4 runs of their own. After a slow 2nd inning, MVLL started to hit effectively to include a two run homer by George DeAcetis. The Home run sparked MVLL to score 15 runs last night and win 15 - 9. Pitching was effective and the kids settled in. MVLL Plays HOST Fountain Hills Little League tonight, so we are expecting a large home crowd. Game time is 7:30 PM, so again, both MVLL Teams will be playing at the same time.
COME ON OUT AND SUPPORT OUR LEAGUE AND KIDS.
Thanks to all of you that have come out and supported our teams. It's appreciated. Don't forget, the 12 year old "Majors" Tournament Starts on Monday at SRP. We need volunteers......

9/10 All Stars Update
The 9/10 All Star Team continued its hot batting!!! MVLL beat East Scottsdale 11 - 1 last night and will play again tonight at 7:30 PM against Arcadia. This will be a rematch of game one of the tournament. I am sure Coach Malkin and Coach Teller will have the kids fired up to move on. A win tonight will assure a spot in the semi finals for MVLL.
10/11 All Stars Update
The 10/11 kept a close game through 3 innings last night and then struggled when McCormick Ranch got hot with the bats and put MVLL away in 4 1/2 innings with an 18 - 2 score. MVLL will have to rebound tonight and play East Scottsdale. It's a WIN or go home game for MVLL, but Coach Weller and Coach Lord will have the kids ready to go. Game time is 7:30 PM
Come on out and support our 9/10 and 10/11 teams on both fields at 7:30, tonight at Golden Eagle Park in Fountain Hills. Fountain Hills Little League has done a tremendous job hosting and the park is nice.
