On behalf of the MVLL Board of Directors - I want to thank you all for a wonderful AA Level season. As every season does - we had some ups and downs BUT the ups far out weighed the downs.

We started the season with our AA field in the best shape we have ever had it thanks to a lot of hard work by a bunch of folks prior to the start of the season. I know our field got stolen and beat up at the end of the season and I apologize for that. We will hope to avoid that next season.

We had no major injuries.

All the kids had a good time and appeared to learn a bunch.

Our Managers and coaches are ALL volunteers and as a league we can not do this without them and I thank them all for a great job.

Thanks to all the Team Moms and volunteers who helped out in so many ways to make this a succesful season.

If you have any questions or concerns that your coach cannot address - please feel free to contact me.

If you prefer your child to be on a particular coaches team - be sure to request that when registering next year.

MVLL is hosting several post season Little League tournaments and can always use volunteers. If interested, please stop by the snack bar and sign up. Thanks

See you all next season

I have been trying to spend as much time as possible visiting the AA games and I must say that I am VERY pleased with the progress of the players at this level. The managers and coaches and team Moms have done a fine job and MVLL appreciates all that they do. Remember it is a volunteer organization.

All of the kids are better today than when the season started and hopefully are having fun - that is our goal.

Remember - the MVLL Juniors that just won the World Series - ALL STARTED AT THE AA LEVEL

Watch for Player of The Week announcements. The winners get a free desert at Goldie's

Great Job

Managers

Looks like we are off to a solid start of the season. I hope you are all settling in. If you have any questions - don't hesitate to contact me.

At this point we are going to institute the pitch count. All batters will now get 6 pitches and then either go to the tee or have a coach help them make contact. This should speed things up and help the fielders to stay focused. This is effective today.

One suggestion. We had the benches put in place to give the kids a place to sit but more importantly to take control of the players and keep them focused. Between at bats all players should be on that bench with ONE mom or coach watching them so the coaches can be instructing on baseball matters.

Thanks
