On Line Registration:
Will be available beginning December 9 . Please read following information on Age and Address Verification.
Age and Address Verification:
For those utilizing the online registration, it is necessary that you bring your child's ORIGINAL birth certificate and TWO proofs of residency. The most common types used include, utility bill, homeowner documentation (mortgage,rental), insurance documentation, driver's license, school records. You may bring them to one of the two tryouts (click for more information).
Fees are as follows:
4-8 year olds - $145.00*
9 and older - $175.00*
*The City of Scottsdale is now charging a City Usage Fee for utilization of the field. The amount charged to MVLL breaks down to approximately $50 per player. Unfortunately, MVLL is a non-profit organization and must pass these fees to our members. This fee will be charged at registration. Due to the fact that we have to charge this fee, we will not be charging the mandatory volunteer fee as in years' past. We are hopeful that members of the league will still volunteer their time as we are a volunteer based organization and our success depends 100% on our volunteer support.
Discounts are given for multiple children families ($20 for each additional child beyond the first)
I HAVE REGISTERED MY CHILD, NOW WHAT DO I DO?
Ages 4-7 - do nothing until you hear from your child's manager the second week of February
Age 8 - have the OPTION of trying out for the Minor Division. If they do not tryout then they will automatically be placed in AAA-Machine Pitch Division.
Ages 9-12 - All players in this age group are required to tryout. The only exception are returning Major Division Players. They will automatically be drafted to the same team. All other players MUST attend one of the two available tryouts either January 21 OR January 28. Go to Tryout page for more detailed information.
Ages 13-18 - Tryout date to be announced, to take place some time toward the end of February.

Little League International has given leagues the option to accept 4 year olds and we are excited to announce MVLL will be participating in this option.
4 year olds will be placed in the AA Division with the tee utilized when necessary as is currently practiced.
If you or someone you know has a league age 4 year old (4 years on or before April 30th) please have them utilize the on-line registration or come to one of our scheduled tryouts to register.
We are very excited about this opportunity.
