8/9/10 - After a tough battle, MVLL falls short to Manhattan Beach (Southern California) in the Semi Finals, 3-1.  Southern California played Hawaii in the Championship Game 8/10/10 to earn the win 4-3 over Hawaii and earn the Western Region Championship title.  Southern California will advance to the World Series in Bangor, Maine.

MVLL 2010 Senior All Stars Arrive in Ontario, California for the Western Region Tournament

in an 8-5 win over Casa Grande earning them the title of Arizona Senior Division State Champions and advancing them to the Western Region Divisional tournament in Ontario, California

MVLL's first game is Tuesday, August 3rd at
7:00pm against Hawaii

Mountain View Little League repeated as Arizona State Senior Little League Champions (ages 14-16) with a hard fought 8-5 victory over a determined Casa Grande Little League team Thursday night in Tucson at the Kino Sports Complex.  Dylan Cozens hit a 2-run homer in the 1st inning, and 5 Mountain View pitchers limited Casa Grande to 7 hits as MVLL moves on to face Hawaii's state champion next Tuesday at the Western Regional Tournament in Ontario, California.  Matt Lewis got the win on the mound for MVLL while Cozens (3 hits), Lucas Jacobi (2 hits) and Greg Hopkins (2 hits) led the offense.  It was Mountain View's 3rd Senior Division championship in the last 5 years.

MVLL will now represent ARIZONA in the Western Regionals in Ontario, California.  MVLL will open up against it's rival Hawaii on Tuesday, August 3rd at 7:00 PM.   MVLL will play in pool A, with Northern Calif, Hawaii, Idaho, and Alaska.  The winner of the Regionals moves on to the Senior Little League World Series in Bangor, Maine.

MVLL has claimed a total of 7 Little League State Championshps in the past 12 Years, and 1 Little League World Series.

SENIORS ADVANCE TO STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!!
7/29/10 - 5:00 MVLL vs Casa Grande - winner take all!

MVLL fell short Wednesday Night in a double elimination game against Casa Grande Little League.  MVLL lost 6 - 5 after falling behind 6 - 2 after 4 innings.  MVLL had several miscues that resulted in 5 unearned runs.  MVLL battled back with 2 runs in the 5th and 1 in the 7th to fall short.

MVLL will come back Thursday night and attempt to win a second consecutive state championship in the final game of the tournament.  The game will be a win or go home.

Game tomorrow is 5:00 PM.  Thank you to those that came out to support MVLL.
